Many of you would have heard by now that Tom Mitchell sadly passed away suddenly last week.
Tom had been a teacher at the school shortly after we moved to Westgate in the 1970's and continued through to the end of the 1980's.
From the many tributes we have seen on social media, Tom was undoubtedly a popular and well-respected teacher, who helped many boys through their Maths as well as other subjects. Tom has also been Housemaster for Alcock.
On behalf of the Old Augustinians we pass on our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Tom's Funeral Mass will take place on:
Monday 17th June 2019 at 12 noon
Venue: Our Lady & St. Benedict, Minnis Road, Birchington, Kent CT7 9SF
