The annual Old Augustinians Mass of Remembrance takes place on Saturday 11th November 2023 at 12 noon at St. Augustine's Church, St. Augustine's Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT11 9NY
Canon Brian Coyle, our Chaplain will be the Celebrant. Students from the Ursuline College will read out the Role of Honour of those Old Augustinians who fell in World Wars One and Two and attended our School in Ramsgate. After the final Blessing, there will be the Blessing of the Graves of the monks and former teachers, Old Augustinians and others as requested. Finally, the Laying of the Wreath at the OA War Memorial with prayers and a blessing by Fr. Brian.
Refreshments will be available in the Visitors Centre at the end of the Service when the Presentation of Gifts will take place.
There is no charge for this gathering but there will be a collection to St. Augustine's Church during Mass.
So we can cater for numbers, please let Richard know if you are attending,
Also for those who wish to, we are going for lunch to a local Ramsgate Restaurant. If you would like to come, please let Richard know.
We need to give numbers to the Restaurant by Friday 10th November - we shall just pay for ourselves.
