It is with great sadness that the family of Eileen Laherty announces that she passed away on the 10th March after a long illness. Eileen was matron at St. Augustine's Westgate on Sea from 1993 until the school closed. In that time she treated many pupils from rugby injuries to sore throats. The family would like to thank everyone at Canterbury hospital for all their excellent care and support. For those who wish to pay their respects, the funeral service will be held on Thursday 2nd April at 10.00am at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church in Broadstairs.
