I am pleased to announce that the Society's AGM will take place on Thursday 20th May at 6.30pm via ZOOM meeting.
This is a members ONLY meeting and only those eligible may participate and/or be nominated for Office or the Committee. Eligible members are those members who are paid up to date as at 22nd April 2021.

Membership now costs £20 per annum - or you could take advantage of becoming a life member at the reduced rate, one off payment of £100. All former pupils and Staff members of St. Augustine's College, The Abbey School, Assumption House or Madeley Court may become members along with friends and family of those associated with our old School.
In this significant year celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our School moving from Ramsgate to it's final home in Westgate, so too is an opportunity for the Ramsgate generation of OAs who have predominantly been running the Committee over the last 10 years to begin the handover to the Westgate generation of OAs. We very much hope that Westgate Members will be able to "step up to the plate" and get involved and we are prepared to offer support to those who do.
After 10 years, Chris Horsburgh is standing down as Chairman and I too will be standing down as Secretary. Other members on the Committee, particularly those who did not go to school in Westgate are also prepared to stand down from their posts if members who spent time at Westgate are prepared to come forward. All retiring members are prepared in any way they can to continue to support the OAs and will not leave any post vacant should nominations not come forward. If you are interested in joining the Committee or holding office and wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We will be electing a President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. We will also be electing the Committee and an Auditor, who will be independent from the Committee.
